Citizens for Parks and Trails launched its campaign yesterday to urge people to Vote YES on the Parks and Trails bond in November. In front of a supportive crowd in Bonner Park, John O’Connor, Jason Shearer, Barb  Neilan and Tate Jones all did a wonderful job touting the benefits that  Fort Missoula Regional Park, trails and playgrounds would bring to Missoula County. FMRP has been selected as one of the top two “America’s Great Outdoors” projects in Montana by US Dept of the Interior head, Ken Salazar. Missoula County has funded design development for the county portion of FMRP. The process will be lead by the County and their consultant DHM Design and Morrison-Mairle beginning April 2012 and concluding September 2012. The end product will include Design Development detail, phasing, cost estimates, and graphic representations of the 63 acre county owned parcel of FMRP.
